Dan Lamborn
Dan is an experienced semiconductor industry professional with over 20 years spanning wafer fabrication process engineering, team building and supply chain management. He enjoyed a short term with Boise State University in a start-up effort for the Institute for Microelectronics Education and Research where he became acutely aware of the many challenges of meeting the ever changing educational needs of the rapidly evolving microelectronics industry. Dan has direct professional experience from Intel and indirect experience from Micron (through corporate and university collaborations).
Dan grew up in a small town in southern Idaho and through working many summer days in dusty fields made a critical decision to work in the cleanest buildings on the planet! He holds degrees in chemical engineering from the University of Utah (BS) and Penn State (PhD). He also holds an MBA from Penn State.
